About us...
Liam and I have been fascinated by nature and birds from Texas to Alaska. I am a graduate of California State University Chico with a degree in Geography, the Education Chair for Altacal Audubon Society, and have conducted bird and toad surveys in the southwestern U.S., as well as having led bird watching tours in Arizona and the Arctic. My son Liam is an accomplished birder with a North American life-list of 552 species as of age 12, and has photographed the majority of those species. He is an apprentice bird bander and aspires to become an ornithologist.
